On 4th August 2024,  a group of students from Pegasus Performing arts  performed their play , Not This Tide at the Holloway Garden Theatre , RSC in Stratford Upon Avon. The children had devised the show from scratch using the Rudyard Kipling poem , My Boy Jack as a stimulus.

Using their own research , the children made choices on appropriate costume , props and music as part of the collaborative creation process and the result was a comedic yet thought provoking 40 minute play about a soldier being called to serve in World War One.

For many of the performers , this was their first outing onto a real stage . So for the show to take place at such a prestigious  and iconic setting was simply incredible. The young performers relished this opportunity and took it in their stride.
